Attorney Amanda Dunn seeks Hamilton County District III judgeship

Attorney Amanda Dunn announced Wednesday that she is running for Hamilton County Criminal Court Judge Division III.

Dunn is a criminal defense attorney with the law firm Houston & Alexander, specializing in both state and federal matters, according to a campaign news release.

Attorney Amanda Dunn Seeks Hamilton County Criminal Court Judge Division III Post

Defense attorney Amanda Dunn’s campaign to replace retiring Criminal Court Judge Don Poole began on Wednesday morning on the steps of the old courthouse. She announced her intention to run in the August 2022 election. She said her background in almost every facet of law sets her apart from other attorneys who may run for the job. 

“I’m one of the rare attorneys in town who has practiced in criminal, state and federal court, along with juvenile court,” attorney Dunn said. “I’ve been in every courthouse with the exception of bankruptcy.”

Attorney Amanda Dunn running for Criminal Court Judge Division III

Defense Attorney Amanda Dunn has announced her candidacy for Hamilton County Criminal Court Judge Division 3.

This comes as current judge Don Poole is retiring after 16 years.

“Having worked around the Hamilton County Courts with Amanda for the last 15 years, I can say with confidence that she possesses the correct temperament, knowledge and experience that we need in our next Criminal Court Judge.”
